Continued from part one…
Rubicon – Effortlessly elegant skirts and dresses were shown by this designer. My favourite part were the fluffy shoes and monochrome pieces.
Keys Fashion – This was the best show of the night and of SAFW so far. Keys fashion produced absolutely stunning evening wear. They proved to not just be a ‘pretty dress designer’ which are often the types that flood the media. The detailing and intricacy of each piece was astounding, while the actual designs were applaudable. Many of the pieces were sheer and sexy yet still elegant.
Sies! Isabelle – In true sies! Isabelle form, the designer created a raw edged, free-spirited collection. As a non fashion design student, I actually struggle to understand how the designer creates these pieces but somehow she makes it work.
Ilan – I’m glad I stayed for the later shows, because Ilan was my other favourite for the night. With a custom print and well designed pieces, it’s sure to be a successful collection. I loved the lace jacket and sheer, printed skirts.
Michelle Ludek – A well known name at fashion weeks, Michelle ludek showed her latest collection. I liked the tassles that were featured but other than that I found what I saw was very much like all the other Michelle Ludek shows I’ve seen.
